Ingredients
6 boneless, skinless chicken brests
6 slices of Swiss cheese (I have also used shredded)

1/4 cup milk
2 cup herb stuffing mix
1/2 cup butter, melted

Directions
- Spray crock pot with cooking spray (skip this step if you use crock pot liners).
- Place chicken on bottom of pot.
- Top with cheese.
- Combine soup and milk and spoon over cheese.
- Sprinkle with stuffing mix.
- Drizzle melted butter over top.

Cook on Low for 8-10 hours or High for 4-6 hours

  1. We LOVED this. I was skeptical about chicken in the crockpot and we generally don't like swiss cheese so I was surprised by how much I liked it! Also, you all may know this but I put the chicken breasts in straight from the freezer and it came out great Anything that cuts out the step of touching gross, fleshy, raw chicken will be a regular on my menu.

  2. This dish surprised us too! Cream of chicken soup works well if you have a mushroom hater in the family.

  3. I just tried this. Yum! It is being added to the regular rotation, because not only is it yummy, it is easy!

My husband isn't a swiss fan, but it doesn't taste swissy at all. I also used stove top "chicken" stuffing because that's what I already had... still good!

  5. This recipe is awesome...only change I made was using Roasted Garlic Cream of Mushroom soup. Gave it a little extra zing.

  6. My husband loved this so much the first time I made it that this week he insisted on doing the grocery shopping and came back with chicken and stuffing for me to make it again. I had to go back to the store to fill in the gaps, but the gesture was cute. I'm making it for him tonight. He'll be so happy! :)

  7. I've made a similar recipe to this that a friend had shared with me. I sprinkled poultry seasoning on the chicken, used American cheese instead of Swiss and used cream of celery soup (undiluted) mixed with about 1 cup of sour cream plus I added some chicken stock as it was cooking to keep it from sticking to the crockpot and to give it some more moisture. This is a FANTASTIC recipe and is a definite keeper. If you are unsure of the celery soup, don't be; you cannot even tell what kind it is. Simply delicious.
